Title: Senior Designer (Instrument) Job Responsibilities: + Perform administrative activities for Instrument databases using SPI and/or AVEVA Instrumentation tools. + Support all aspects of Instrument engineering and design through project database tools. + Take full responsibility and accountability for all database administration activities. + Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) for Instrument materials such as cables, cable glands, installation materials, junction boxes, hook-up materials, and equipment supports. + Extract drawings/documents from 3D models, including equipment layouts, antenna general arrangements, MTO, and cable schedules (preferred). + Provide solutions and resolve comments related to design and instrument databases. + Develop weight reports for Instruments. + Coordinate with other disciplines for cable trays, MCTs, trimmers, etc. Job Requirements: + Minimum 10 years of experience in Instrumentation design within the Offshore/Oil & Gas industry, including greenfield and brownfield projects. + Proven experience in administering AVEVA Instrumentation or SPI databases independently for detailed engineering projects. + Strong background and understanding of Instrumentation design principles. + Ability to work independently and lead database-related activities. + Possess teamwork skills and interact with other disciplines colleagues, clients, and suppliers + Proficiency in 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. + Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, and SP3D is preferred. + Knowledge of 3D tools such as E3D and S3D is preferred. + Site survey experience is an advantage.
