Job Description:
Our team is looking for a Senior Design Thinking Guide and UX Designer to help lead the Design Thinking program across the entire enterprise. This role involves a strong ability to craft and execute Design Thinking strategy, workshops, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to coordinate and execute details and outputs for Design Thinking workshops, including corresponding senior level UX artifacts. As an expert senior Design Thinking guide, you’re a masterful facilitator in both small and large group environments, online, hybrid and in-person. You have strong public speaking skills and lead with empathy and enthusiasm in your facilitation. You’re able to monitor attitudes, struggles and opportunities within a session and are ready to pivot when necessary. You’re a true empathetic leader for stakeholders and within your own team.

Your passion in helping people understand the need for a user-centric focus - always - helps keep groups on task and in focus. You create thoughtful, delightful experiences that bring value to projects and people’s day-to-day processes. In this role you’ll help lead the Design Thinking program development and the creation of new workshops. You’ll coordinate the execution of Design Thinking workshops through specific and detail-orientated communication to key organizers. You will coordinate necessary fellow facilitators based on workshop numbers to ensure appropriate allocation, and track the changing needs and attendance of a group. You’ll serve as a lead facilitator to run Design Thinking workshops end-to-end, including providing necessary output and decks to key constituents. You’ll also champion an ambassador program for fellow human-centric design practitioners to help enrich and assist their own projects and skillset. As a senior leader, you’re passionate about leadership and driving a culture within the team of professionalism and excellence, using appropriate mentorship to help fellow teammates.

Job Description:
CUSTOMER
Help develop frameworks, models, etc. that help drive strategic consideration of the desired customer experience.
Apply user-centered design methodologies to ensure ideas are accessible and based on customer needs
Collaborate with UX Design Leads, Product Owners, lines of business and engineers to develop the best solution for customers.
Lead Human-Centered Design activities across the enterprise, including Design Thinking assets, process flows, sitemaps, service blueprints etc
SHAREHOLDER
Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to user experience design activities for our business area
Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
Participate in cross-functional / enterprise / initiatives as a user experience design subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
Conduct meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
Lead / facilitate and/or implement actions / remediation plans to address performance / risk /governance issues
Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary

Expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge / expertise in own domain / field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas
Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or a resource for others integrating the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area
Leads projects of moderately to complex risk and resource requirements; may lead end-to-end processes or functional programs
Uses advanced methods to contributes to new solutions and recommending standards within area of expertise
Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders
Works within broad guidelines/policies and independently performs tasks from end to end
Takes day to day direction from Design leadership
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in design related discipline
5+ years of experience, preferably in digital design, interaction and visual design
