Amazon is looking for a Sr. Design Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects on the Amazon Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute strategies for our logistics footprint and related infrastructure. This role requires scoping multiple large cross-functional projects, managing project timelines, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process changes. This role will also be responsible for site plan reviews, updates to design standards, and enabling documentation to gain stakeholder buy-in and guiding new design standards through the change management process. This role will require approximately 25% travel within the United States and Canada.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute complex cross-functional projects that drive strategic infrastructure improvements
- Establish design best practices and foster collaborative partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups
- Develop comprehensive design standards that exceed quality requirements and anticipate emerging technologies
- Lead pre-construction reviews and site-specific design evaluations to ensure operational excellence
- Create insightful performance reports that provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Travel 25% and within the United States and Canada

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
