We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team supporting global product development across HVAC and Refrigeration portfolios.

Onsite: This position follows an onsite work schedule, with work performed onsite 4 days each week.
What will you doIn this role, you will:
• Independently support design engineering projects and collaborate closely with design and product engineers
• Lead sheet‑metal and plastic part design, creating layouts, concept models, sketches, and detailed drawings
• Execute product configuration management and maintain Engineering documentation, BOMs, and Engineering Change Notices
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and project partners
• Execute the design release process through Teamcenter
• Follow and support the Product Development Process and all design/drafting standards
• Work from engineering instructions, procedures, drawings, sketches, and technical specifications
• Commit to delivering projects with 100% focus on Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC)
• Execute innovation and engineering productivity initiatives
• Contribute to building and identifying next‑generation engineering capabilities for Design Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–8 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
• Hands‑on experience with Creo and Teamcenter
• Experience in NPD, VAVE, and Sustenance Engineering projects
• Strong expertise in sheet‑metal design and manufacturing processes
• Strong knowledge of plastic part design
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack‑up, and ASME Y14.5M principles
• Solid understanding of BOM creation and Engineering Change Management
• HVAC/Refrigeration domain experience (preferred)
• Ability to independently manage design/drawing releases
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to self‑check models, drawings, and Windchill documentation
• Good understanding of refrigeration subsystems and components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
