**Overview:**
CVS Caremark is seeking a Senior Decision Scientist to play a crucial role in measure and analyze the impact of system improvements on our Contract Intelligence Platform. In this position, you will conduct impact analysis, build & track system KPIs, quantifying business results from system changes, and providing insights for strategic decisions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Identify business opportunities through data-driven insights and develop high-impact analytical solutions.
+ Independently explore data and create a structured analytical work plan to derive meaningful insights.
+ Formulate, execute, and analyze hypotheses to pinpoint factors contributing to errors, and extractions
+ Communicate analytical solutions and results through compelling narratives and visualizations, engaging stakeholders to drive informed business decisions on system investments and improvements.
+ Drive project execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineering and product teams, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
+ Understand coding, GIT, documentation, and quality assurance best practices to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
**Qualifications:**
**Required:**
3+ years of experience in business analytics, analytical or strategy consulting, or a related field, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
+ Proficiency in SQL and Python with 3+ years of professional experience.
+ Strong statistical background with experience in design, and impact measurement.
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
**Preferred:**
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
+ Solid SQL coding skills are essential.
+ Experience with MongoDB or similar databases for data extraction and analysis.
+ Experience in the Legal/Contract domain, audit processes, or management consulting is a plus.
+ Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
+ A Master’s degree in a quantitative field or an MBA is strongly preferred.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$83,430.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
