What You'll Do

Work with experienced data scientists and domain experts to apply machine learning algorithms to wireless and wired network dataTake ownership of existing AI Insight modules in Aruba Central and evolve them according to customer needsValidate telemetry data from customer networks and find relevant structure that reveals insightsScale machine learning code to run reliably in worldwide production environmentsMonitor deployed machine learning modules

What you need to bring:
Our Minimum Requirements for this role are

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or another data-oriented disciplineFour to Ten years industry experience as data scientistExpert python coderFluent user of Apache SparkWorking knowledge of data structures (array, maps, trees, stacks, queues) and algorithms (recursion, dynamic programming, backtracking)Working knowledge of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, anomaly detection)Descriptive statistics (central tendency, variability, distribution)Gen AI - Deep understanding of LLMs and fine-tuning LLMsAgentic AIClear technical communicationAbility and willingness to learn quickly

Additional preferred skills

Familiar with NoSQL databases, preferably CassandraFamiliar with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, MavenStatistical inference (hypothesis testing, estimation with confidence intervals, Bayesian inference).

Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Release Management, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)
