The Senior Data & Process Developer serves as a critical bridge among the business stakeholders in finance and accounting, along with IT, ensuring comprehensive system solutions that align processes, data, and people. This is achieved by transforming business requirement of finance and accounting into detailed, system-based concepts (BSS) that serve as the foundation for technical implementation. Key responsibilities include independently managing and delivering projects with an end-to-end perspective, identifying cross-functional and financial dependencies, aligning business needs and financial objectives across multiple stakeholders, and documenting requirements in the form of Business Scope Statements (BSS). Close collaboration with IT ensures alignment on financial processes, accounting workflows, and data flows.

The role also encompasses managing and coaching project resources, overseeing solution testing for quality assurance, ensuring the accuracy of technical and financial documentation, and transferring finalised processes and system solutions to data governance teams. A deep understanding of core processes, including finance and accounting operations, is essential to provide guidance on complex areas, design user-focused documentation, and lead change management initiatives to drive adoption.
