The Senior Data Platform Engineer has a critical role within the Global IT organization, responsible for the design, implementation, and governance of the enterprise data architecture supporting analytics and data platform initiatives. This position sits within the Data, Analytics, and AI organization and reports directly to the Director of Data, Analytics & AI. The role plays a key part in enabling scalable, well-governed, and high‑value data capabilities across the enterprise. In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, including Business Application Specialists, BI Analysts, AI Engineers, Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, and senior business leaders, to define and execute data platform strategies aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, business priorities, and governance standards. The position is based in Copenhagen (Brønshøj) and is an on‑site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Lead and develop a growing team of Data Platform Engineers and Governance Associates. + Own the operational and tactical delivery of Radiometer’s enterprise Data Platform. + Translate strategy and governance requirements into clear roadmaps and incremental value delivery. + Drive data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance into actionable, business‑aligned execution. + Shape and influence Data Platform strategy through strong cross‑functional leadership. + Enable enterprise integrations and hub‑and‑spoke data flows across operational, analytics, and AI use cases. + Champion adoption, change management, and platform reliability to maximize business impact. The essential requirements of the job include: + Proven experience leading platform‑focused product delivery in complex, cross‑functional environments. + Demonstrated ability to translate data governance, quality, and regulatory requirements into operational execution. + Strong understanding of data platforms, integrations, analytics, and AI concepts to guide business‑to‑technical alignment. + Excellent stakeholder, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels. + Experience managing, coaching, and developing technical and governance teams while enabling center-of-excellence practices and driving self‑service data capabilities. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + AI platforms or AI‑enabled products, including enabling advanced analytics or machine‑learning capabilities. + Lean, DBS, or continuous‑improvement methodologies that enhance flow, reduce waste, and strengthen delivery excellence. + Scaling data platforms and technical teams, including maturing engineering practices, governance frameworks, and platform capabilities.
