Senior Data Analyst – Medicaid Risk Adjustment

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative professional to join our team and support Medicaid Risk Adjustment initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leveraging data to drive financial performance and operational excellence.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Medicaid Risk Adjustment National Program Management, the Senior Analyst will play a key role in retrieving, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare and financial data from multiple sources to identify and address business opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing the annual budget for national programs and partnering with the Informatics and Market Meeting teams to promote revenue integrity at the market level. This position is instrumental in implementing innovative strategies for Medicaid Risk Adjustment.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze and interpret complex healthcare and financial data to inform business decisions.Prepare and manage the annual budget for national programs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion revenue integrity excellence.Support the development and implementation of new approaches to Medicaid Risk Adjustment.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for learning and making a difference.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in healthcare or insurance.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Medicaid Risk Adjustment.Ability to design and code efficiently in SQL, SAS, or similar programming languages.Experience with Databricks.Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques.


Education Bachelor's degree (required or 5 plus years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
