Senior Data Analyst, U4B Self-Serve
**About the Role** You’ll be joining Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber, as a Sr. Analyst on the U4B Self-Serve team. The role is focused on enabling data-informed decision-making and supports the business with actionable insights. The analyst will own business intelligence for the Self-Serve channel, and will partner with specialist teams, such as Marketing and Operations to support practical applications of her work. You will be expected to apply statistical methods and business acumen to solve some of U4B's toughest problems. Uber for Business enables companies of all sizes to access Uber’s mobility and delivery services through a centralized platform—supporting employee travel, meal programs, customer experiences, and more. The Self-Serve segment focuses on small and medium-sized businesses, representing >$15B in global SAM across mobility and delivery. **What You’ll Do** - Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track top-level business KPIs as well as performance of specific growth initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery - Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Tech, CommOps, Operations) to translate business questions into analytical projects - Develop, test, and maintain models (e.g., regression models) to estimate white space penetration among SMB, growth potential from cross-channel motions, etc. - Automate data pipelines and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and scalability using SQL and cloud tools - Analyze trends, identify growth opportunities, and present actionable insights to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making **Basic Qualifications** - 3+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g. BI Analyst, Strategy & Planning Associate or Operations Manager supporting analytical projects) - Strong proficiency in SQL - Bachelor Degree **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience deploying and operationalizing ML models: Including model monitoring, performance tuning, and integration into business workflows - Expertise in techniques like multivariate regression, time series analysis, and A/B testing to drive data-backed strategy - Proficiency with Python - Proven ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports: Support cross-functional stakeholders with clear, actionable insights through Tableau or Looker - Ability to translate complex analytical findings into strategic recommendations, especially in sales performance and market share contexts - Bonus points for candidates with prior experience in B2B environment, especially those with a focus on small and medium-sized businesses For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
