We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Belgrade. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing and investigating security alerts and incidents. You will support the full incident response lifecycle, from identifying root causes to applying containment and remediation steps, as well as documenting findings that help strengthen our overall security posture.

This position also places a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, contributing to the creation and enhancement of playbooks, SOPs, and best practices that elevate expertise across the team.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

Minimum 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with a focus on incident response and security operations   Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and/or equivalent work experienceProficiency in English

What will you be doing in this role?  

Conduct in-depth analysis of security alerts and incidents to determine the root cause and impact. Utilize incident response plans, including containment, eradication, and recovery strategies. Lead investigations into security breaches and incidents, document findings and recommendations for remediation. Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks associated with new projects and initiatives. Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 Security Analysts, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge. Monitor and analyze security logs and data sources to proactively identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity. Play a key role in the creation and maintenance of playbooks and SOPs. 

About the Team  

You will be part of the Clarivate Security Operations team, working closely with other team members and reporting directly to the Manager, Cyber Security.

Hours of work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
