Job DescriptionGeneral Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst position at the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC).
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
The essential duties and tasks of the Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst assigned to the OCIAC include but are not limited to:
Lead collection and research efforts to provide relevant, timely, and actionable cyber threat intelligence to law enforcement investigators and members of the information technology community, especially on potential impact to their systems and equipmentWrite high-quality cyber-related intelligence analysis and threat assessments, and provide expert level support to law enforcement investigations and task forcesUtilize publicly available information, and review real-time cyber threats and suspicious activity reports to provide situational updates and assessments to the center’s leadership and partners in the operational areaCollaborate with and serve as a senior cyber liaison to interagency, federal, state, and local partners to share various forms of intelligence and informationLead the development of cyber tips/leads derived from fusion center reportingDevelop and provide expert level cyber-related briefings tailored to various audiencesCoordinate closely with the OCIAC Cyber Coordinator and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Private Sector Coordinator assigned to the fusion centerLead the collection, organization, and review of cyber information from open-source and internal law enforcement databases to support ongoing assessments and operationsDevelop and maintain strategic analysis capabilitiesDevelop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirementsCollect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processesPerform and lead additional duties as assignedLead special projects as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
● US citizenship required
A minimum of 6 years of cyber research, analysis, and intelligence-oriented experienceSkillful with examining social media using online search tools and applicationsCompetency in developing and implementing strategic, mission-support initiativesHighly organized with a strong attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesProven ability to successfully engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executivesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentExceptional writing and public speaking skills to include briefings of public safety executives and public officials at all levels of governmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPointDesired: an active Secret security clearance
