The position will be based in Dallas or Chicago and report to the Global Head of Labor and Employment. **What You’ll Do:** + Advise people business partners, managers and executives on a full range of employment and labor law issues including recruitment, leave and accommodation, performance management, separations, compliance, employment contracts and compensation. + Draft and review employment related documents including offer letters, employment agreements, compensation agreements, non-competition agreements, and severance agreements. + Draft and review employment related policies and procedures. + Support internal compliance investigations related to employment practices, policy violations and employee relations issues. + Manage prelitigation disputes including settlement demands, EEOC charges, administrative claims and labor grievances. + Monitor new legislation and regulatory changes impacting employment and labor laws. + Conduct training for people business partners and managers on various employment related issues. + Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the labor and employment areas and advise accordingly. + Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned. **What You’ll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The minimum salary for the Senior Counsel, Employment Law position is $190,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Counsel, Employment Law position is $220,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
