Senior Coordinator, Operations

This role is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of Know Your Agent (KYA) documentation, conducting due diligence reviews, and performing GSI Agent Interdiction reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk mitigation practices, and operational controls.

Role Responsibilities:
 

KYA Completeness Check

Review and validate KYA documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Coordinate with business units to resolve discrepancies or missing information.

Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.

Due Diligence

Conduct due diligence reviews (EDD) on agents, intermediaries and third-party relationship for Western Union agents and clients.

Analyze, identify and investigate potential adverse information counting financial, reputational, and operational risks using internal tools and external resources.

Investigate potential matches and document disposition decisions in accordance with policy.

GSI Interdiction Review

Perform interdiction reviews of Western Union Agent against the internal interdiction lists.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or a technical background is a plus and over than over than 1 year of relevant experience within Operations and/or Compliance.

Strong analytical and investigative skills. Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Focused on detail and Customer oriented and strong problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with customer support platforms and analytics tools. Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.

Communication and reading skills, assertive, people oriented, customer oriented, and adaptable.

Identifying the underlying Cause heof a Problem, approach with solutions to prevent its reoccurrence. It encourages the team and leaders to step back from the traditional approach of fixing problems, and instead, work on finding a way to prevent tm.

Advanced English level is required.
