Roles and Responsibilities
Advise sales and business teams on agreement structure, risks, and alternativesCollaborate with various business functions including Legal to draft and negotiate a wide variety of contractsConsult with legal team, compliance, and other business functions to ensure that templates are in compliance with legal requirements and best practicesFacilitate cross-functional meetings; manage agenda, post minutes, and manage participantsActively participate and assist with executing new product launchesAssist with executing price increases and price adjustmentsAssist with managing contract templates including the systematic review of templates and playbooks and incorporate best contracting practices and provisionsAssist with maintaining SOPs and Guide Sheets specific to Contract AuthoringCollaborate with trainers to design and deliver training materials for Sales with respect to contracting processes, policies, and proceduresAssist with training Comm Ops staff on contracting processesAssist with managing the queue for contract requests; assign work to ensure team meets / exceeds business cycle requirementsActively participate in the periodic review of 5.0 and 6.0 flags to ensure they meet the needs of PDxParticipate in Commercial Deal Review meetings as necessary to evaluate deal structuresIdentify, participate, and lead process improvement initiatives to support our lean strategyRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal certification with 7+ years of related experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience with contract drafting and negotiation with customer/client interaction and managing successful relationshipsExperience in the HealthCare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industryDemonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environmentAbility to interact and communicate effectively with individuals from multiple departments at all levels of the organizationExcellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, language proficiency in EnglishAbility to work successfully towards strict deadlines, as well as independently on multiple, simultaneous assignmentsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and AI tools (i.e. Copilot)Enable collaborative culture and drive organization to improve customer/client satisfaction levels and responsivenessDesired Characteristics
JD or MBA PreferredExperience negotiating and drafting complex multi-year supply agreementsPrior experience with public bid rules and doing business with governmental entitiesStrong financial acumen with an understanding of contractual accounting methodologiesExperience using, developing, and/or implementing a Contract Lifecycle Management systemExperience using SAPExperience using Salesforce.comUnderstanding of channel strategy and go-to-market optionsGreen Belt / Black Belt CertificationProject Management CertificationWe will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $96,000.00-$144,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
