**Job Description**
**Job Summary**
As a Senior Consultant in Banking Consulting Europe, you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and support of Oracle banking solutions. Operating both independently and within project teams, you’ll ensure quality delivery of assigned tasks, leveraging your technical expertise to help financial institutions optimize operations with next-generation Oracle products.
**Qualifications & Skills**
_Mandatory:_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
+ 3–7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in designing, developing, implementing, or supporting Oracle banking applications (e.g., FLEXCUBE).
+ Proficiency in core Java, J2EE, Microservices (Spring Boot), JavaScript, and XML.
+ Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c).
+ Experience with Oracle Weblogic Application Server: deployment and troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of release management and source control tools.
+ Excellent client interaction and communication skills in English.
+ Strong documentation and presentation abilities.
+ Willingness to travel internationally or work offshore as required, and to work rotational shifts based on project needs.
_Good-to-Have:_
+ Prior experience in the banking industry and familiarity with banking concepts/terminology.
+ Exposure to software development processes, DevOps practices, and testing tools.
+ Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE, BIP, middleware (e.g., Oracle Fusion SOA Suite).
+ Awareness of emerging technologies in the banking sector.
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Ability to adapt within a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
+ Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications (or willingness to pursue).

**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Serve as a senior technical resource for development, implementation, migration, integration, and testing support activities, liaising closely with clients and Oracle teams both onsite and offshore.
+ Analyze, design, and implement tailored solutions based on business requirements and Oracle best practices.
+ Develop, test, and deliver high-quality code and configurations according to specifications and project timelines.
+ Ensure all work is documented per Oracle/client standards, supporting transparency, knowledge sharing, and compliance.
+ Uphold change management and audit requirements in line with Oracle/client processes.
+ Troubleshoot technical issues related to application deployment, particularly on Oracle Weblogic and related platforms.
+ Conduct effective handovers and knowledge transfers at the end of each engagement.
+ Provide timely status updates, timesheets, and expense reports in accordance with organizational requirements.
