Senior Consultant for Deals Services

Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

In deal valuation at PwC, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals.

Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. The role

The successful candidate will:

Participate and guide junior colleagues in different stages of M&A / Valuation / Feasibility Study / Business Plan development and other Deal Advisory projects, including but not limited to Business Consulting, Operational Efficiency Determination, Business Diagnostics, Market Research etc.;Financial modelling in Ms Excel;Working on deliverable documents in PowerPoint (business plans, feasibility studies, business, fixed asset and real estate valuation reports, etc.);Preparation of proposal materials for potential clients;

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree graduates with majors in Business Administration/Economics or Finance.Having around 2-3 years of full-time professional experience in valuation, investment, corporate finance or consulting backgrounds.A good basis of corporate finance and accounting knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of valuation process. Financial modelling skills. General business acumen. Leadership experience and skills.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Strong report writing and visualisation skills in PowerPoint.Proficiency in English (must), Russian (preferable) and Azerbaijani.Having a good working stamina and ability to work under pressure.Team spirit, determination, willingness to take action and quick thinking.Experience in business consulting, fixed asset and real estate valuations, and financial due diligence is an advantage.CFA Level 1 or ACCA (F2, F3, F5, F7, F9) qualification is an advantage.
