Senior Consultant - Advisory Regulatory

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Regulatory Risk Advisory team within Advisory. Our team brings together professionals from diverse backgrounds including ex-regulators, compliance specialists, auditors and legal professionals, with expertise across prudential regulation, conduct risk, governance and compliance. With increased scrutiny from European regulators on prudential frameworks, capital adequacy, liquidity management and regulatory reporting, financial institutions are seeking expert support to navigate this evolving landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to play a meaningful role in delivering regulatory advisory services across the Irish market. Our Risk Regulatory Advisory Services include: + Regulatory Compliance Advisory + Prudential Risk & Capital Management + Governance, Risk & Strategy Frameworks + Markets, Treasury & Liquidity Management + Internal Audit & Assurance Services + Regulatory Reporting & Data Governance + Authorisations & Regulatory Lifecycle Support We work with clients across the Banking and Asset Management sectors, supporting them through regulatory change and supervisory engagement. The role: As a Senior Consultant, you will support Managers and Associate Directors in the delivery of high-quality client engagements while continuing to develop your technical expertise and advisory skills. You will work closely with clients, contribute to technical analysis, and take ownership of defined workstreams within larger projects. This role offers strong exposure to regulatory topics and direct interaction with senior stakeholders within financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: + Support the delivery of regulatory advisory engagements across prudential risk, capital management, governance and reporting; + Take ownership of specific workstreams, ensuring quality, timeliness and alignment with client expectations; + Conduct technical analysis in areas such as CRR/CRD, IFR/IFD, BRRD and broader ECB/SSM requirements; + Assist in preparing client reports, presentations and regulatory documentation; + Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions and findings; + Support Managers in identifying risks, issues and practical recommendations for clients; + Contribute to business development initiatives, research and proposal development; + Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams; + Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate; + Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture. Requirements: + Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in financial services (e.g., banking, investment firms) or professional services; + Understanding of European prudential regulation (CRR/CRD, IFR/IFD, BRRD) and exposure to ECB/SSM supervisory frameworks; + Experience supporting regulatory reporting, capital or liquidity frameworks, or governance initiatives; + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; + Excellent written and verbal communication skills; + High attention to detail and strong organisational capability; + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; + Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop; + Ability to build effective working relationships internally and with clients.
