We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategic Risk Consulting team at Marsh as a Senior Consultant – Crisis and Business Continuity Management working in our Sydney or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Consultant – Crisis and Business Continuity Management
In this role you will define and deploy crisis and business continuity strategies and programs for clients in line with our model and standard of service delivery. You will understand the big picture and be able to clearly articulate strategies with rationale through logical written and verbal communications.
We will count on you to:
Conduct risk advisory engagements focussed on developing resilience in our client’s organisations
Deliver a range of services including Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management and Emergency Management by conducting business impact analysis, facilitating workshops, preparing training and conducting scenario-based exercise sessions
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, understanding their unique needs, and providing insights to address their risk challenges effectively
Project manage the execution of risk advisory projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met, while maintaining the highest quality standards
Ensure that resilience programs are compliant with relevant international best practice and Australian standards
Lead small to large projects and be a valuable resource on complex projects involving subject matter experts from across Marsh McLennan
Be an ambassador for the practice, building the Strategic Risk Consulting brand and building internal networks
Continually develop professional skills by engaging in professional development courses
Adhere to the Company’s Quality practices and other systems and procedures
Comply with the Company’s Errors and Omissions avoidance policy
What you need to have:
Current or prior experience working in a management consulting environment, preferably big four
Experience working in, or familiarity with crisis management and business continuity management, as well as developing resilience programs and strategies
Leadership experience with proven ability to lead teams and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Awareness and understanding of relevant regulations and standards
Demonstrated experience in developing documented plans, presentations, and related workshop materials with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and client-management skills, with experience presenting to executive-level clients, both written and verbal
Experience in proposal and tender writing/creation
