Senior Compensation Consultant - Hybrid
As a Senior Compensation Consultant, you’ll partner with leaders to shape forward‑thinking compensation strategies for a major business segment, often coordinating across organizations to ensure alignment and impact. You’ll lead key compensation work and data‑driven solutions that strengthen our competitive position and support business success. **Responsibilities:** + Serve as the compensation leader for a major business segment, delivering thought leadership on compensation strategy and practices. + Design, evaluate, and enhance compensation programs, including incentive and variable pay plans. + Lead annual compensation processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals. + Evaluate roles, design market competitive pay packages, and advise on critical and senior leadership talent decisions. + Assess internal equity and external competitiveness using market insights and best practices. + Conduct compensation analysis to support the business strategy. + Develop compensation recommendations that support organizational growth and change, including global expansion, integrations, restructuring, and M&A activity. + Consult with HR business partners and recruiters on compensation-related issues. + Communicate and train HR partners to support business managers on compensation topics. + Counsel management and serves as a subject matter expert on compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications. **Required Qualifications:** + Minimum 8 years of compensation or related HR/finance experience. + Experience supporting a large, complex organization (e.g., Fortune 500 or global enterprise). + Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and influence outcomes. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree preferred, Masters degree a plus. + Experience supporting compensation work related to organizational growth or change, such as global expansion, integrations, restructuring, or M&A-related activities. + Experience with compensation administration systems and Workday. + CCP, PHR, or SPHR certification. **Competencies:** + Strong analytical, quantitative, project management, communication, problem-solving, and consultation skills. + Influential leadership with demonstrated business acumen, agility, and multi-tasking capabilities. + Self-starter with strong organizational skills and sound business judgment. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. + Strong executive presence with exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills.
