Senior Commercial Painting Estimator + Job Type: Full Time + Location: Vineland NJ Submit Resume Online Application Job Overview We are hiring a Senior Commercial Painting Estimator to lead our estimating work and contribute to the growth of our small but highly technical painting company. This individual will evaluate and qualify incoming leads, assign work to remote takeoff technicians, manage pricing databases and cost assemblies, and create professional proposals for submission. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable with structured digital workflows and has AI fluency—the ability to effectively use AI tools in estimating, data organization, and proposal preparation. You’ll play a central role in helping us scale with strong systems and efficient procedures. Responsibilities + Review daily commercial and industrial leads for new construction, repainting, and coating projects + Select and prioritize jobs based on company profile and capacity + Assign takeoff tasks using eTakeoff to remote estimators and junior staff + Perform takeoffs as needed + Price estimates in Sage 100 Contractor using Pro-Spec’s assemblies and cost database + Maintain pricing formulas and cost assemblies + Prepare polished proposals for general contractors and owners + Maintain and manage the bid calendar + Upon award: export budgets, create purchase orders, request quotes, and coordinate with construction administrators Requirements + Minimum 5 years estimating experience in commercial painting, coatings, or finish trades + Strong proficiency with eTakeoff or similar takeoff software + Advanced user of Sage 100 Contractor or comparable estimating platform + AI-fluent and comfortable using AI tools in support of structured estimating workflows + Strong computer skills; comfortable with digital files and structured folders + Detail-oriented, self-managed, and comfortable working in a small office environment + Seeking long-term growth in a company positioned to expand over the next decade Compensation & Opportunity + Starting salary: $57,379.96 – $69,102.74 depending on qualifications and technical fluency + Significant opportunity to grow into an ownership-track role + Position is on-site at our Vineland, NJ office How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief letter explaining why you believe this role is a good fit for you and Pro-Spec Painting.
