Thales in the Czech Republic employs over 400 people from 45 different nationalities. A total of 15 teams work on projects for government agencies, banking, mobile services and the Internet Of Things (IoT) technology. We are looking for a Senior, hands-on Cloud Integration Engineer to integrate, optimize, and operate cloud-native, containerized platforms on private cloud infrastructures, supporting projects, presales, and demos.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate and deploy multi-product solutions on private cloud Kubernetes platforms.Design and operate microservices-based architectures using containers.Deploy, operate, and tune databases (SQL/NoSQL) in containerized environments.Perform performance profiling and tuning across services, containers, databases, and infrastructure.Define and execute validation, load, and resiliency testing.Automate deployment and operations using CI/CD, Terraform, and scripting.Troubleshoot complex integration, Kubernetes, and performance issues.Produce clear technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with private cloud and on‑prem Kubernetes.Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container networking/storage.Solid experience with microservices integration and REST APIs.Strong background in databases (performance, HA, persistence in Kubernetes).Proven skills in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Proficiency in Python/Bash, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.Strong performance engineering and troubleshooting mindset.

Nice to Have

Exposure to public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of Kubernetes and container security best practices.
