As a Senior Client Associate within the Commercial Term Lending (CTL) team, you will focus on the detailed analysis of commercial mortgage opportunities, with a particular emphasis on retail, industrial, mixed-use (residential/retail), and office properties. You’ll be responsible for assessing client needs, performing financial analysis, and guiding lending requests through the approval process. Job responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients through proactive outreach and regular communication.Provide in-depth analysis of lending requests, including cash flow evaluation, property valuation, and financial modeling to recommend suitable mortgage products.Collaborate on marketing strategies and execute campaigns, including direct mail, digital thought leadership, and exclusive client events.Engage with clients to understand their unique business needs and deliver tailored solutions to help them expand their real estate holdings.Set clear expectations with clients regarding process and timelines, and guide them from pre-approval through funding.Drive loan packages through the approval process, coordinating with internal partners to ensure timely and accurate execution.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in commercial real estate or financial services (Investment Management, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, or Insurance).Strong desire to contribute to a high-performing sales team.Experience with investment property analysis across retail, industrial, office, and multifamily sectors.Solid understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong analytical skills.Excellent time management, verbal communication, and presentation abilities.Self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic team player.Professional, organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow standard operating procedures.Ability to identify new business opportunities through industry research and monitoring relevant publications and events.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
A four-year college degree with a major in a related field (Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance and/or Marketing - preferred) or commensurate experience in Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience in financial services.Experience with cold calling is a plus.Experience with CoStar is preferred.
