Senior Client Advisor, Cyber Practice

                                                Senior Client Advisor, Cyber Practice

We will count on you to:

Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters while playing an active role in placing sophisticated cyber insurance programs. Identify opportunities for new products and create innovative solutions for clients. Provide expert broking and strategic solutions to help manage cyber risk. Develop a deep understanding of clients' business priorities, risk strategies, and management needs to offer tailored advice to complex clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client service needs and maintain client relationships. Manage policy activities, deliver reviewed policies to clients, and address any client inquiries as necessary. Offer technical expertise in the preparation and presentation of RFPs. Cultivate and maintain market relationships to design best-in-class insurance programs. Meet with clients for proposals and meetings, preparing client-facing marketing materials. Responsible for client retention and growth within the Cyber practice. Collaborate with senior colleagues to provide strategic advice and develop renewal strategies and placement structures. Demonstrate technical knowledge of cyber liability, Errors and Omissions, and media liability coverages. Assess client needs and develop solutions for a wide range of risk situations. Submit coverage specifications, obtain quotes from carriers, and ensure coverage is bound. Accountable for the accuracy of bound programs. Analyze quotes from carriers, providing insights and recommendations. Develop strong relationships with carriers and underwriters. Stay up to date on the insurance and risk marketplace, including financial strength and risk appetite, while keeping informed of evolving market conditions. Collaborate with senior cyber practice members to participate in written and oral RFPs on behalf of the Cyber practice. Assist with customizing policy wording to meet client needs. Increase internal visibility by networking, attending cyber-related seminars, webinars, and other opportunities to showcase cyber expertise.

What you need to have: 

Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Economics or a related field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered, as a

Client Advisor, Vice President, Assistant Vice Principal or a related position. Must have seven (7) years of experience with all of the following:  Handling financial institution clients in collaboration with a specialized industry team, focusing on the specific cyber risks and exposures faced by this sector; Delivering frequent oral presentations and pitches, as well as writing detailed proposals and providing advisory on the insurance marketplace; Mentoring and supporting junior brokers through the placement process, helping to develop their technical skills in client communication, underwriting, and interaction with internal stakeholders; Negotiating contracts of insurance utilizing an understanding of the insurance

marketplace and the unique risks clients may face; and Building established relationships within the cyber insurance industry, including risk managers, underwriting managers, and vendors. 15% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.

The applicable base salary is $155,000 to $250,000 per year

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
