Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in aerospace components, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Buyer
**Location:** Aurora, OR
**Pay Range: $30 - $35**
**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Purchase materials supporting Army Wing Kit production in a manufacturing environment
+ Manage procurement of sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials
+ Issue and manage purchase orders based on material demand signals
+ Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and payment terms with suppliers
+ Oversee RTV (Return to Vendor) processes and partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
**What's Needed?**
+ 5+ years of buyer/procurement experience in manufacturing
+ ERP-driven purchasing experience, preferably with SISPRO or similar systems
+ Experience buying sheet metal, aluminum products, and raw materials
+ Strong communication skills for engineering partnership
+ Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities effectively
