Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Buyer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be adept at sourcing and gathering information to support our growing business. You will play a crucial role in signing new deals and collaborating closely with our R&D team within a GMP environment.
Responsibilities
+ Work closely with the sales team to bring in new business.
+ Engage in sourcing and information gathering to support business growth.
+ Collaborate with R&D and other cross-functional teams.
+ Manage relationships with 120 to 150 vendors for sourcing raw materials.
+ Utilize SAP and Oracle systems for efficient process management.
+ Apply ERP-related experience to streamline operations.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of buying experience, or 2 years with food industry experience.
+ Proficiency in purchasing, purchase orders, and supply chain management.
+ Experience in a GMP environment.
+ Familiarity with SAP and Oracle systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Environment
The role is based in an office environment, with a transition to hybrid work after the initial 2-3 months. Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
