Our **Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)** is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.
The **Senior Business Development Manager** leads the critical elements to drive Technician Growth through Attraction, Development and Retention programs aligned with the Differentiated Dealer Capabilities and Industry Growth plans. Responsibilities include management of the Learning Systems (DPC, Channel1, Marketplace), Instructional Design and Multimedia teams, technician growth initiative development, and the delivery of dealer facing technician execution. This position collaborates with the DSDs, Industry / Product groups and dealers to achieve success.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Deliver on dealer technician growth goals leveraging the Technician Cap & Cap fundamental capability, as well as the Industry Tech Cap & Cap capability for P&E (EP, Marine, O&G).
+ Utilize the Technician Growth Initiative to enable dealers to Attract, Develop and Retain world class talent, including T4W, ThinkBIG, Cat Tech Academy, educational collaborators, WorldSkills, instructor development, Customer Campus, Recruitment & Retention workshops, and the GDTC.
+ Develop training materials (WBT, ITTPs, Assessments, multimedia) to support technician development.
+ Leverage the Learning Systems to drive technician development (DPC, Channel1, Marketplace).
+ Drive technician growth projects.to enable technician attraction, development and retention, including development of point of use materials to drive technician safety, quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

• **Strategic Thinking:** Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
• **Value Selling:** Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

**Summary Pay Range:**
$172,630.00 - $258,950.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
