**CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Business Communications Specialist opening for our client.**
**Location:** Buffalo, NY
**Duration:** 10 months
**Overview:**
The Senior Business Communications Specialist develops and coordinates internal lines of communication within a line of business. This role implements communication strategies, policies, and programs to increase employee awareness, engagement, and understanding of initiatives, changes, and activities impacting the organization.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, manage, implement, and evaluate internal communications in partnership with business line leadership, supporting sales, service, operations, change management, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.
+ Translate complex and technical information into clear, user-friendly messaging for diverse internal audiences.
+ Serve as an expert content creator for internal communications (email, meetings, intranet) and marketing materials supporting IT and business projects.
+ Identify, prepare, and execute communication plans for significant organizational announcements; respond to employee inquiries as needed.
+ Design and maintain divisional intranet content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with branding standards.
+ Lead evaluation and potential implementation of new communication delivery channels.
+ Create professional, concise, and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations using graphics, images, charts, and data visualization.
+ Promote an inclusive environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
+ Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit requirements and addressing regulatory issues as applicable.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Scope of Responsibilities:**

+ Presentation development and visual storytelling
+ Intranet content management
+ Change and project communications support
**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**
+ May serve as a team lead.
**Education and Experience Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
+ Significant experience in internal or corporate communications
+ Expert-level written and verbal communication skills
+ Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for visual design and data presentation
+ Proven ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
**Education and Experience Preferred:**
+ Experience supporting technology or IT-related initiatives
+ Financial services or regulated industry experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
