Job Description
In this role you will get the opportunity to join RBC’s Digital BA team in delivering exceptional digital banking experiences to our clients across different platforms. You will be responsible for requirements analysis activities on medium to large size projects where you will drive requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in both business and systems analysis, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, strong agile experience, digital product experience, a background in financial services and a passion for digital banking platforms.
What will you do?
Perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups and stakeholder responsibilities.
Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.
Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities.
Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within large Financial Institutions.
Strong experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Experience with user stories, business and systems specifications, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps.
Experience working on Digital banking projects
Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and working on agile projects
Experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys
Nice-to-have:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar.
Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis
