Summary
The Senior Business Analyst acts as a technology enabler at the intersection of business, product, and engineering. This role ensures that technology strategies and roadmaps align with business objectives and product vision, enabling measurable outcomes through OKRs and KPIs. The analyst translates strategic goals into actionable technology capabilities, facilitates alignment across diverse stakeholders, and supports platform and vendor decisions. This is a strategic partner role focused on roadmap integrity, capability definition, and cross-functional communication.
Responsibilities
• Technology Roadmap Enablement: Partner with AVP and Product leadership to maintain a roadmap that aligns technology capabilities with business and product strategy.
• Cross-Functional Translation: Bridge communication between business, product, and engineering teams; simplify technical concepts for business leaders and vice versa.
• Capability Definition: Elicit and document technology capability requirements that inform architecture and solution design.
• Governance & Communication: Prepare concise updates for IT and business executives; maintain roadmap artifacts and alignment decisions.
• Vendor & Platform Support: Assist in evaluating technology platforms, utilization, and cost models; provide input for vendor selection and agreements.
• Agile Partnership: Support agile planning by providing roadmap context and capability priorities; enable teams to connect delivery outcomes to strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
• 6–8+ years in business analysis or technology strategy roles with proven ability to enable technology outcomes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems, integration patterns, and omni-channel solutions.
• Experience in product-led operating models and agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe)
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and data considerations to partner effectively with engineering and architecture.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare) with awareness of HIPAA compliance.
• Tools: Jira/Confluence (or equivalent), roadmap visualization tools, and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare or Medicare Sales domain experience.
• Exposure to marketing and sales technology stacks (CDP, decisioning, orchestration).
• Experience supporting vendor/platform evaluations and utilization optimization.
• Data literacy for analytics and reporting.
• Certifications: CBAP/PMI-PBA, SAFe, CSPO/PSPO
Education
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a related discipline.
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
