What You’ll Be Doing
The CIBC FX Operations is focused on the needs of our clients and business partners and passionate about delivering centralized operational services through our strategic pillars of Client Centricity, Innovation and Process Simplification. As the Senior Business Analyst you will be accountable for supporting line management and assisting in the resolution of operational deficiency and compliance to policies and procedures for a specific or multiple product line. You will research, gather data, analyze, lead and/or support as required on projects to identify operational impacts and recommend solutions to management. You may assume a level of responsibility participating in meetings and answering questions as the Subject Matter Expert. You will communicate the status of initiatives to the team, business partners and clients.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed
Analytics Development – Lead analytics development projects with key stakeholders and business specialists.
Analyzing Business Requirements – Research and analyze specialized information using Tableau and Alteryx and recommend solutions to issues and problems that arise during the ongoing operation of business.
Relationship Management – Develop and maintain productive relationships with designated clients, peers including liaising with external service suppliers and clients to resolve problems/inquiries.
Project Management – Lead projects of a moderate level of complexity to enhance and upgrade new and existing programs, products or services by researching relevant data and developing proposals and recommendations
