This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Predominantly HVAC Systems and BAS System maintenance and support. Join the CBRE Team providing facilities excellence at a 200k sq ft campus in Summit, NJ This position in NON- Union **What you’ll do** + Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. + Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning. + Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as the need arises. + Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders materials and supplies to finish the tasks. + Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements. + Performs, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + EPA Section 608 Universal Certificate + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
