Senior Bookkeeper
Seeking a Senior Bookkeeper in the West Des Moines Area!!

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to perform reviews and audits on all bookkeeping projects. This role involves providing feedback and coaching to bookkeepers, as well as delivering training to address identified areas for improvement. The Senior Bookkeeper will also conduct one-on-one training sessions as needed and perform bookkeeping duties when required.

ResponsibilitiesPerform reviews and audits on all bookkeeping projects.Provide feedback and coaching to bookkeepers after reviews are completed.Deliver training to the team on areas identified for improvement.Conduct one-on-one training sessions when necessary.Complete bookkeeping duties as required.Actively participate in daily, weekly, and monthly huddles and meetings.Answer questions and inquiries from management, auditors, and regulatory authorities.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, general ledger management, financial statement preparation, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields, specifically accounts receivable and accounts payable.Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and processes.Required system knowledge: QuickBooks and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts receivable and accounts payable.Work Environment

This position will be based onsite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $26.44/hr.
