What you will be doing:

Ensure the integrity of the data in the BMS / Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) system and report to the Corporation when abnormalities ariseDevelop and produce a workflow for better call management and an escalation procedure according to the critical level of faultEnsure that the BMS / IBMS workstation/server trend log data be archived appropriately so as to avoid system lag due to lack of system memory space. To ensure the BMS / IBMS is functioning at its optimum performanceEnsure that all contractors using the BMS / IBMS follow the Information Technology (IT) Security policy and procedure strictly. The policy shall be subjected to changes by the Corporation as and when necessaryEnsure that computers for the BMS / IBMS are not used for any other purposeEnsure that all necessary security measures are in place to ensure there is no unauthorized access to BMS / IBMS servers via internet or storage devicesEnsure antivirus programs and security patches are properly updated from time to timeAttend to all alarms generated by the system and submit a report to the Corporation on causes and remedial actions for these alarmsCarry out daily log-in to the system and check that the system is in good working conditionProvide Corporation a monthly work programme covering routine maintenance repair. The commencement dates and time for service commencement and maintenance work shall be specified and notify Corporation on any subsequent amendment made to this programEnsure response restoration times are strictly adhered by contractorsCarry out supervisory check on contractors manning systems. Periodic testing shall be carried out from time together with Corporation officers (if necessary) to determine overall operating capability of systemsSubmit monthly reports required approved by CorporationUpkeep components systems which are part of BMS/IBMS such as Direct Digital Controllers (DDCs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Network switches etc. to ensure they are in good working conditionAttend training conducted by Corporation to familiarize with Diagnostics tools such as Building Optimization System (BOS)Make use of BOS for planning and carrying out various activitiesSupport Corporation’s information duties by conducting joint inspections at various locations involved in maintaining BMS/IBMSRender assistance to Corporation’s duties assigned for upkeep of BMS/IBMS e.g. annual shutdowns, managing incidents etc.

You are:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities
Management, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in BMS/BOS operation. (5 years preferred for senior roles.)
Good understanding of Building Management Systems and Building Optimisation Systems.
Experience with central monitoring platforms, anomaly detection, and equipment optimisation.
Knowledge of integration between BMS, DDC, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm,
ACMV, and Electrical Systems.
Hands-on involvement in ACMV diagnostics and improvements.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Teams, Outlook, and relevant BMS
software
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in vendor sourcing, evaluation, and preparing project justifications.
Willingness to support all sites via the command centre or HQ when required
