Position Overview

The DMPK/ADME organization is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Bioanalytical Scientist with 10+ years of industry experience to lead a broad and complex portfolio spanning small molecules, biologics, antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), and cell & gene therapy modalities.

The ideal candidate is a transformative scientific leader who excels at guiding modern bioanalytical strategy, strengthening partnerships with internal and external collaborators, and driving scientific and operational excellence across a diverse therapeutic pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Scientific & Strategic Leadership

Establish and drive bioanalytical strategy across multiple therapeutic modalities.Guide method development, validation, and regulated/non‑regulated study execution.Identify and implement innovative technologies, platforms, and workflows.Provide expert scientific guidance on study design, data interpretation, and regulatory expectations.

Operational & Portfolio Management

Lead/manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of bioanalytical scientists.Manage execution of internal and outsourced studies, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Oversee resource planning and prioritization for a diverse and evolving portfolio.Ensure robust oversight of CRO partners and external collaborations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Discovery, non‑clinical, Clinical, Quality, and ADME organizations to align analytical strategies with program needs.Maintain strong external networks to ensure innovative scientific readiness.Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Scientific Impact & External Presence

Represent the organization through publications, presentations, and scientific engagement.Influence the broader scientific community by sharing insights, advancing methodologies, and shaping procedures.

Required Qualifications

PhD in Bioanalysis, DMPK, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline.10+ years of relevant industry experience in bioanalysis across small and large molecule modalities supporting drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic studies.Experience with analytical platforms such as LC‑MS, ligand‑binding assays, PCR‑based techniques, and flow cytometry.Leadership experience with scientific teams and complex portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience overseeing CRO partnerships and regulated bioanalytical programs (GLP/GCP).Strong innovation mindset with a track record of challenging and elevating legacy workflows.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including scientific influence across multidisciplinary teams.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$177,000 - $308,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
