Senior Billing Analyst- Assistant Manager

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a highly committed, technically sound and organized individual that is detail oriented.  The Senior Billing Analyst will partner with the Revenue Supervisor and support the monthly invoice process and various ad hoc requests, projects. 

The role will involve understanding client billing to ensure proper, accurate, and timely invoice preparation and resolution of discrepancies.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

Review and approve client billing to ensure proper, accurate, and timely invoice preparation and resolution of discrepanciesUtilize current documentation and tools/methodologies and recommend new solutions to improve/automate existing and new processes and support new initiatives Build strong relationships and coordinate with peers, other business groups and leaders across the enterprise, and develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities.

Strong Excel skills preferred, knowledge of other systems is a plus

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in billing or similarBA/BS degree in Accounting, or related degree required.Demonstrated proficiency in a quantitatively heavy position.Superior Excel skills including logic functions Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication, sense of urgency as well as exceptional written skills Data driven and detail oriented, yet able to elevate to an upper levelExperience with Oracle/SAP or other accounting system
