Senior AVP - Senior Analytic Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs

Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

Lead or participate on large cross group projects

Mentor less experienced staff

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

A BSc./BTech degree or higher

Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

Proven organization, self- management, collaboration, leadership skills.

Experience with iterative development approach.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking.

Knowledge and understanding of data warehouse or data mart concepts

Experience writing data wrangling and ETL processes

Experience developing reports and dashboards

2+ years of experience in Python & SAS

2+ years on Power BI

Good Understanding of AI concepts.

Good experience utilizing AI tools such as Copilot, Notebook LM to streamline operational processes. Using effective prompts to leverage Gen AI in day to day activities.

1+ years’ experience Data Lake environments, Hadoop, MapR, Dremio.

1+ years experience in GCP.

Knowledge of SSIS/Alteryx is a plus.

Experience working with US based Banking preferable in Wealth Investment Domain.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management Data and Systems

Lead and manage projects end to end. Ensure timely delivery and communication with stakeholders.
