**Job Description** Job Summary • Automation Specialist and Automation Practice lead will play a critical role in driving and leading Solutioning and Delivery of QA and especially Test Automation opportunities and projects for the organization. • Position will be responsible for understanding customer situations, challenges and automation needs and leading the solutioning as well delivery phases for key opportunities and projects • This position will design, develop, and optimize robust automation frameworks, lead quality and performance testing initiatives, and contribute expertise in Agile environments. • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate QA cycles, elevate product quality, and support complex banking operations. **Qualifications & Mandatory Skills:** + Overall, 10 -15 Years of exp and 5–7 years of proven automation experience, with strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG (hybrid framework), and BDD. + Solid understanding and hands-on expertise in Core Java (ability to code during interviews required). + Demonstrated ability to independently architect and maintain automation frameworks. + Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). + Familiarity with performance testing concepts and execution. + Experience in Test strategy, test estimation, test planning, text execution for complex QA programmes . + Experience leading Test Automation projects. **Good-to-Have:** + Foundational knowledge of banking concepts and industry practices. + Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD integration and maintenance. + Experience working with version control systems, particularly GIT. + Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation or automation back-end integration. **Self-Assessment Questions** + Do I have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, with strong coding proficiency? + Have I worked extensively (at least 3 years) on automation projects using Selenium? + Am I proficient in designing and utilizing hybrid automation frameworks with TestNG? + Can I confidently explain and implement Agile methodologies within a quality engineering or automation context? + Have I independently built and maintained robust automation frameworks from the ground up? + Have you worked as Solution Architect? **Responsibilities** + Experience across all testing phases and in leading end-to-end QA and Test Engagements including SIT, UAT, End-to-end Testing, Performance Testing, Security, with Test Automation experience in mission-critical programs. + Driving customer conversations to understand customer requirements and needs, work with customers to propose QA and test automation solutions, estimation and sizing, presentations and supporting delivery on key project phases + Ability to lead a QA and Test Automation Practice Team and mentor a high-performance QA team across the organization. + Design and build automation Suites / Framework from the ground up, optimizing existing frameworks for scalability and ease of maintenance. + Ability to implement AI/ML-based testing solutions. + Tackle complex automation challenges across diverse technologies, ensuring solutions are reliable and sustainable. + Drive continuous improvements in automation efficiency through innovative technologies and advanced testing strategies. + Lead training and knowledge-sharing activities to bridge skill gaps and mentor team members. + Communicate test outcomes and insights effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels. + Conduct root cause analysis of reported defects, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve and validate fixes. + Champion Agile methodologies and participate actively in platform operation models and POD structures.
