Responsibilities

Be an active participant in planning and designing product features with the ability to view the product from a customer perspectiveCollaborate with cross functional teams involved in product deliveryDevelop, update, maintain and execute automated tests   Review and triage test failures and verify fixesWork with team to analyze code coverage using industry standard toolsEnhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworksBuild testing tools, mock servicesManage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environmentParticipate in on-call rotations, driving bug isolation and helping restore the serviceWork with minimum of technical supervisionStay current with the latest engineering technologies and best practices

Knowledge and Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent domain6+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality EngineeringExcellent analytical skillsAbility to analyze requirements, develop a test plan/strategy, create and execute test cases, track defects and report resultsStrong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages: JavaFamiliarity with JSON and XMLProficient in Web Based/Client Server based applicationsMust have in depth knowledge in automating AWS, API, RESTful web service testing using JAVA (not with Tools).Must have experience in Database (Mysql, SQLserver)Must have experience with Logging tools such as Splunk, Kibana, etc.Must have in-depth knowledge in using TestNG, Maven and Jenkins.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.Must have hands on with Performance Testing tools like Jmeter.Ability to innovate and optimizeRelentlessly high standards

Strong Plus

Strong skills in relational and non-relational databases: MySQL/ PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similarSelf-motivated, able to learn and research
