Key Responsibilities
1. Be part of a cross functional, distributed Scrum team that develops and supports the product.
2. Develop API, automation, and integration tests for cloud scale products.
3. Maintain and expand automated testing framework and tests.
4. Be involved in new features development, provide input on the correct behavior of the system, following and executing on team specified “done” criteria.
5. Supporting with customer integration testing
6. Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
7. Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
8. Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
9. Serves as a function wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
10. Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
11. Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
12. Develop applications and tools that bring data driven insights to development and test workflows.
13. Write maintainable, reliable, and well detailed code. Provide peer code reviews including feedback on performance, scalability, and correctness.
14. Debug issues to identify the root cause and participate in postmortem analysis along with peers and senior team members.
15. Build innovative ways to automate and expand our software testing
16. Optimally estimate and prioritize tasks to create a realistic delivery schedule
17. Work closely with leadership to report progress by generating effective and impactful reports
18. Work on challenging technical and process issues which helps define better and reliable workflows
