**Job Description:**
**Overall Purpose:**
Participate in a post-collegiate development program designed to build your technical skills and business acumen through immersive training and hands-on experience. This program includes two or more assignments or rotations in diverse technical roles, preparing you for advanced technical positions across AT&T.
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:**
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to:
+ **Software Engineering:** Independently build next-generation solutions within Agile teams; interpret user stories, design and test solutions, collaborate with product owners, and participate in daily stand-ups.
+ **Network Engineering:** Develop and implement network solutions using data analytics, automation, and virtualization. Responsibilities include working with RAN, SDN, and Wireline/Fiber Networks, conducting research, and refining designs based on data analysis.
+ **Technical Business Management:** Develop use cases, manage financials, analyze data, automate processes, generate reports, participate in ideation and innovation sessions, support technical product marketing initiatives, and enhance the customer experience. Present complex technical solutions to both management and technical teams in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
+ **Data Analytics/Data Science:** Apply deep analytical skills and expertise in data manipulation, visualization, modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation to break down business problems, deliver insights, and predict outcomes.
+ **System and DevOps Engineering:** Enable automation by developing, configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving platforms such as OSS, ONAP (open-source orchestration for software-defined networks), and BSS. Write scripts, configure software, engineer data migrations, ensure security, automate deployment and testing, and support network processes using CI/CD practices.
**Job Contribution:**
An entry-level professional with foundational knowledge, applying company policies to routine issues. Follows standard procedures to analyze data and perform transactional work. Contributes to project fulfillment and organizational objectives, impacting productivity and expenditures. Works under regular supervision, with visibility primarily within the department or region.
**Education and Experience:**
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a STEM field (Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent) required. No prior related experience necessary.
