How will you make an impact in this role?
This role serves as an individual contributor on the Infrastructure Vulnerability Management team within the Network Vulnerability and Configuration Management program. The role shares responsibility for daily operations while also owning deep technical analysis, event-driven response, and cross-team coordination for network-related vulnerability and configuration risk.
The position requires strong technical depth, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal hand-holding. The individual will partner closely with the Network Vulnerability Program Lead to absorb operational load, support continuity during high-impact events, and enable long-term program maturity and scalability.
The expectation is for the individual to become productive quickly, take ownership of defined areas of responsibility, and serve as a trusted technical authority within the network vulnerability domain.
Own meaningful portions of daily operations, triage, and complex analysis within the Network Vulnerability and Configuration Management program
Apply strong technical judgment to assess network vulnerabilities, configuration findings, and tooling discrepancies across a complex, regulated environment
Independently investigate and resolve complex operational issues, asset coverage gaps, and data inconsistencies, while partnering across Security, Network Engineering, and vendor teams to ensure accurate, defensible outcomes
Make informed risk determinations and provide clear recommendations to support remediation, risk acceptance, or escalation decisions
Partner closely with the Network Vulnerability Program Lead during high-impact events such as zero-day vulnerabilities, architectural changes, tooling migrations, and audit-driven requests
Contribute to program resiliency and scalability by absorbing operational load, improving processes, and enabling the program to mature proactively rather than reactively
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas with increasing scope and independence:Enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, wireless)Vulnerability management, configuration assessment, or security operations in complex environmentsDemonstrated ability to independently analyze vulnerability disclosures and determine applicability and impact within a specific technical environmentExperience conducting structured security investigations across multiple tools and data sources, including interpreting and correlating findings, validating conclusions, and clearly documenting analysis steps and rationaleStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document analysis, explain risk decisions, and support audit or regulatory inquiriesAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-variability environment with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications
Network-focused certifications or equivalent experience demonstrating foundational understanding of enterprise networking concepts (e.g., Network+, CCNA)Background working with physical and virtual network devices, appliances, and network operating systemsExperience effectively engaging with senior network engineering teams to clarify technical details, navigate differing viewpoints, and drive resolutionFoundational security certifications or equivalent experience in enterprise or regulated environmentsSalary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
