The Role

We're looking for a Data Engineer to build the data and feature engineering pipelines that power operational AI workloads on Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms. Data Engineers at Andersen Consulting embed with client technical teams, engagement leaders, and product managers to understand client data landscapes and implement solutions. Your core responsibility is building modern data pipelines that solve real business problems and support production AI systems. This is an individual contributor role focused on technical delivery.

In this role, you will:

Build data pipelines and workflows to prepare data for machine learning and GenAI workloads on Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms.Deploy modern tools to support machine learning and LLM operations for enterprise clients.Contribute meaningfully to client outcomes through hands-on technical delivery.

You'll work within the new Andersen Consulting Global AI practice, accountable for delivering measurable value to clients through operational AI. The team accomplishes this by using modern techniques, tooling, and pragmatic decision-making to deliver value rapidly. Since the AI landscape evolves continuously, you'll learn new technologies quickly and accomplish a wide range of tasks all focused on delivering robust data and feature engineering pipelines with exceptional quality.

You'll leverage your existing Foundry and AIP experience while deepening expertise across the platform. Andersen Consulting partners with Palantir to deploy solutions to enterprise clients. This means you'll work on client engagements while becoming expert in one of the most powerful AI platforms on the market. Longer term, you'll build bespoke data and feature engineering pipelines within client infrastructure including on-premises software, cloud-hosted platforms, and cloud-native services.

The Requirements

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

6 years of technical experience delivering production data solutions3 years of hands-on experience building solutions on Palantir Foundry and AIP platformsDemonstrated track record designing and deploying large-scale data engineering solutions that deliver tangible, ongoing valueStrong coding experience writing production-quality SQL and Python code with expert-level knowledge of scientific computing libraries (PyTorch, NumPy, Polars, etc.)Professional experience with relational and non-relational database technologies with expert-level SQL knowledgeExperience with full-stack Foundry development including ontology modeling and design patternsStrong communication skills for client-facing delivery, requirements gathering, and solution design

Compensation and Benefits


Our firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being, growth, and long-term success of our people. Salary Range: For individuals hired to work in Chicago, the expected salary range for this role is $142,200 to $202,700. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.

 

Benefits: Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage. Employees may enroll in the firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire.
