A career in our TRS practice, within Accounting and Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients in meeting their accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance obligations while managing the impact accounting and tax requirements have on their business operations.
Our team helps our clients to leverage co-sourcing and outsourcing as a critical component of accounting and tax function strategy to better align reporting capabilities, technology, and talent with their organisational goals. You’ll focus on coordinating and delivering a comprehensive suite of accounting, tax accounting, statutory reporting, direct and indirect tax compliance services to help clients create an integrated and global approach to local compliance services.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Accounting and tax accounting transactions for representative offices, permanent establishments of foreign legal entities and local companies
Preparation of local statutory financial statements in accordance with National Accounting Standards (NAS/НСБУ) and IFRS
Accounting for foreign economic activity transactions and accurate reflection in financial and tax reporting
Managing the process of preparation and submission tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT other taxes) and statistical reports
Assisting clients with optimisation of tax burden and application of available tax incentives/benefits
Effective collaboration with engagement teams and client representatives, clearly communicating issues, risks and proposed solutions
Supervision and coaching of junior team members and ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
Higher education in finance, accounting, taxation or economics
Strong expertise in accounting and tax legislation of Uzbekistan
Previous relevant experience of 3-6 years in accounting/ taxation
Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Experience in NAS‑to‑IFRS transformation is an advantage.
Experience with accounting for foreign economic activity transactions (E-Contract/YEISVO)
Experience in optimisation of tax burden and application of tax incentives/benefits is an advantage
Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and 1C (version 8.2 and 8.3), working experience in bank-client, both electronic tax cabinets and e-contract platform
Ability to work with a large amount of data, analytical mind, ability to juggle multiple commitments and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and communicate results
Ability to clearly communicate in writing
Fluency in Russian (both oral and written)
English and Uzbek language skills are an advantage
