TheACES team supports you and your work! **Essential Functions** + Manage the design, implementation, and interpretation of program evaluation and assessment activities that support Extension, county, and programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment with Auburn University,ACES , and land-grant mission priorities. + Oversee stakeholder input and needs-assessment processes, ensuring stakeholder feedback is systematically collected, analyzed, and integrated into program evaluation and strategic decision-making efforts. + Responsible for communicating program effectiveness and evaluation findings to internal and external stakeholders by translating data into clear, meaningful summaries, reports, and presentations that demonstrate program impact, inform decision-making, and support accountability and reporting requirements. + Serve as a subject matter expert and primary resource for evaluation planning, guiding Extension faculty, County Extension Directors, and program teams in the development of measurable outcomes, evaluation plans, and data-collection strategies to assess program effectiveness and impact. + Coordinate and support evaluation components of federal, state, and national reporting requirements, including Plans of Work, impact reporting, and compliance-related documentation. + Design, administer, and oversee survey and evaluation instruments. + Analyze and synthesize evaluation data to produce clear, actionable reports and summaries that communicate program outcomes, stakeholder impact, and data-driven insights to leadership, funders, and internal audiences. + Collaborate with Extension leadership and programmatic teams on strategic planning and program review efforts, supporting outcomes-based approaches, key performance measures, and continuous improvement initiatives. + Develop and deliver professional development resources related to evaluation and assessment, including workshops, training materials, and consultation support for Extension professionals, in coordination with program teams and subject experts. + Serve as a liaison and collaborator with internal and external evaluation partners, including Auburn academic units, Extension evaluation specialists, and peer land-grant institutions, to strengthen evaluation practices and scholarship. + Support data management and analysis processes, including the organization, storage, and interpretation of evaluation data, to ensure data integrity and accessibility for reporting and long-term analysis. + Assist in identifying opportunities for evaluation-related grants, external funding, or reporting enhancements, collaborating with leadership and program teams as appropriate. + Perform related assessment, evaluation, and research duties as assigned in support of Extension operations, statewide initiatives, and evolving organizational priorities. **Why Work at Auburn?** + **Life-Changing Impact** : Our work changes lives through research, instruction, and outreach, making a lasting impact on our students, our communities, and the world. + **Culture of Excellence** : We are committed to leveraging our strengths, resources, collaboration, and innovation as a top employer in higher education. + **We’re Here for You** : Auburn offers generous benefits, educational opportunities, and a culture of support and work/life balance. + **Sweet Home Alabama** : The Auburn/Opelika area offers southern charm, vibrant downtown scenes, top-ranked schools, and easy access to Atlanta, Birmingham, and the Gulf of Mexico beaches. + **A Place for Everyone** : Auburn is committed to fostering an environment where all faculty, staff, and students are welcomed, valued, respected, and engaged. Minimum Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Educational Research/Assessment, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or related field + 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, assessment, institutional research, or related. OR + Master’s degree Higher Education, Educational Research/Assessment, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or related field + 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, assessment, institutional research, or related. Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications **Minimum Skills and Abilities** + Knowledge of program assessment, strategic planning, higher education practices, student affairs, advanced statistical and psychometric knowledge, research and experimental design, data management, and data analysis, basic understanding of accreditation standards. + Knowledge of theory and practice related to college student development, including familiarity with professional standards such as The Council for the Advancement of Standard in Higher Education (CAS ) and Assessment Skills and knowledge (ASK ) Standards. + Skilled in quantitative and qualitative research design and administration. + Preference given to those with experience in experimental and survey design, data analysis, and statistical reporting. + Ability to understand mission alignment and broad planning frameworks, strategic planning, outcomes-based approaches, and key performance measures. + Strong analytic, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned goals in a timely manner. + Ability to work with detailed information with attention to accuracy. + Significant experience with the following software applications or product equivalents: Microsoft Office Professional Suite andSPSS or other equivalent statistical software. + Experience with Qualtrics and/or Anthology’s Baseline and its other software platforms is desired. + Experience with computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (Nudist, NVivo, Miner, etc.) is desirable. **Minimum Technology Skills** **Minimum License and Certifications** None Required.
