Job Title: Senior Architectural DesignerJob Description As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will lead and mentor a team of junior designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering professional growth. You will manage your own design projects with minimal supervision, providing input on others' projects, and transitioning smoothly from design to construction documents. Your role will involve delivering design excellence through various phases, managing client relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will also identify emerging technologies to enhance design quality. Responsibilities + Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support. + Manage multiple complex design projects independently. + Oversee the transition from design to construction documents. + Engage in client-facing and regulatory meetings. + Ensure compliance with building codes and zoning regulations. + Conduct site feasibility research and site visits. + Identify and integrate emerging technologies and methodologies into designs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit and MS 365. + Highly experienced in conceptual and schematic design. + Strong project coordination skills. + Experience in hospitality, mixed-use, or multifamily projects. + 10 years of architectural design experience. + 5 years as a Senior Project Designer. + Bachelor of Science in Architecture. + Experience working on hospitality projects. + Ability to manage the entitlement process with minimal direction. + Well-versed in zoning regulations and building codes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with midrise hospitality (5-story) projects like Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt. + Proficient in Bluebeam. + Experience with artificial intelligence. + Experience in working on construction documents. + Interior design experience. Work Environment The position is based on-site at our Scottsdale office, with flexible start hours. The office environment is intimate, with three employees, providing opportunities for leadership and business development. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Scottsdale, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
