10+ yrs. of experience in developing Native Android applications in Java or Kotlin5+ yrs of experience in Kotlin3+ yrs of strong experience in Android JetpackProficient in JavaExperience in app deployment process on Play Store1+ yrs Experience in Airline DomainExtensive exposure to Android SDK and ecosystemGood knowledge of Gradle and it’s capabilitiesCan identify memory leaks and knows how to resolve themGood memory management abilitiesGood version control practicesProven ability to work with legacy code baseProven ability to work with MVVMProven ability to write testable code and compose good unit tests for itProven ability to add accessibility to an appExperience in Dagger, RxJava, ViewBinding, DataBinding, Retrofit, Gson, Room, LiveData, Navigation ComponentsExperience with Coroutines, Flow, Android-ktx, Extension methods, Named parametersAble to convert legacy java code into KotlinAble to debug App for performance issues/boost using profilerExperience of working with a team across multiple time zones.
