Senior Analyst - Supply Chain Analytics
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Supply Chain Analytics Analyst with **5+ years of experience** in supply chain and analytics functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational understanding across procurement, logistics, fulfillment, and planning, combined with solid analytical capabilities in SQL, Power BI, and the Power Platform. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can partner closely with operations teams, drive data‑backed decisions, and support strategic improvements across the supply chain. **Responsibilities:** **Primary Skills:** + Supply Chain Operations & Planning + Logistics & Fulfillment Analytics + Procurement & Supplier Performance + SQL (Intermediate–Advanced) + Power BI (Advanced) + Power Platform (Power Apps exposure required) + Exposure to Data Lake, RPA (UiPath), Copilot Studio **Functional Supply Chain & Operations Expertise:** + Analyze and improve core operational processes including procurement, supplier performance, logistics efficiency, transportation, warehouse operations, and demand/supply planning. + Support S&OP / IBP processes by providing insights on forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, service levels, and operational constraints. + Monitor key operational metrics such as OTIF, lead times, service levels, cost-to-serve, transportation performance, and supplier reliability. + Identify root causes of operational issues and collaborate with process owners to implement corrective actions. + Evaluate operational risks, bottlenecks, and variability, and recommend mitigation strategies to improve flow and efficiency. **Data Analysis and Insights:** + Perform end-to-end data analysis to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across supply chain operations. + Use SQL to extract and transform data from ERP, WMS, TMS, procurement systems, and planning tools. + Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for operations, procurement, and logistics teams. + Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reporting outputs. **Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s degree** in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. + **5+ years of experience** in supply chain analytics, operations analytics, or a similar role. + **Strong functional understanding of supply chain operations** , including procurement, logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, and demand/supply planning. + **Experience supporting operational KPIs** , such as OTIF, lead times, forecast accuracy, service levels, and cost-to-serve. + **Intermediate to advanced SQL skills** , with the ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple systems. + **Strong Power BI skills** , including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development for operational reporting. + **Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform** , includingPower Apps (exposure required),Power Automate for workflow automation,Copilot Studio for conversational automation. + **Exposure to Data Lakes** and modern data environments. + **Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath** , with the ability to identify automation opportunities. + **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills** , with the ability to translate operational challenges into data-driven insights. + **Excellent communication and storytelling skills** , especially in presenting insights to supply chain and operations stakeholders. + **Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment** , managing multiple priorities. + **A continuous improvement mindset** , with a focus on operational excellence and analytics-driven decision support. \#LI-KS1 At Wesco, we build, connect, power and protect the world.
