Our Balance Sheet and Statistical Reporting (BSSR) team sits within Group Accounting and Reporting in the Finance division. We ensure Macquarie meets its regulatory reporting obligations across Australia and New Zealand, delivering accurate and timely reports to external regulators while maintaining strong control frameworks. Our team plays a key role in process improvement, automation, and change management initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and compliance. You will prepare and review balance sheet and statistical reports for external regulators, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal control frameworks. You will maintain documentation to support audits, identify and resolve issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation opportunities. Your role will also involve supporting change management activities, including new regulatory returns, and working closely with data teams, business units, and risk management to drive accurate reporting and informed decision-making. A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce, with 2+ years’ experience in financial services or investment bankingPrevious experience and knowledge of regulatory reporting processes and requirementsStrong analytical skills with a passion for data and reporting in a controlled environmentAbility to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders effectively across multiple teamsExperience identifying process improvements and contributing to automation or system enhancements.
