American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team (GCSM) is responsible for making business membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. GCSM markets a breadth of products across charge, lending, co-brand, and corporate cards. It is also offers a range of small business banking and B2B solutions.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Analyst, Contractor Operations supports the execution and operational backbone of the Marketing Contractor Program within defined frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance. This role owns repeatable, functional, and time-sensitive processes required to scale contractor and MOA (Marketing Operations Analyst) leader support, enabling leadership to focus on strategic change, Flywheel adoption, risk mitigation, and workforce enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

    Execute contractor and MOA operational workflows including hiring cycles, onboarding, and offboarding.    Maintain contractor rosters, systems, documentation, and SOPs.    Coordinate interview logistics, vendor communications, and onboarding tasks.    Support foundational reporting and KPI inputs aligned to governance requirements.    Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent, compliant execution.    Strategize GCS Marketing Contractor Program Office evolution, ensuring structure, governance, and best practices are embedded across the entire contractor lifecycle. Champion continuous improvement and alignment across internal stakeholder groups.

Minimum Qualifications:

    Relevant years of experience in program management, operations, marketing strategy, or workforce planning    Experience managing or influencing external vendors or staffing partners    Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders    Experience designing scalable programs and frameworks in fast-paced, matrixed environments    Proven track record of improving operational effectiveness and driving accountability across distributed teams    Comfort working across multiple systems and tools simultaneously, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly and apply standardized processes consistently.    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Hands-on experience working with Airtable or similar workflow / database tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com), including maintaining records, managing views, and supporting basic automations or reporting outputs.    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data validation to support tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of operational workflows.    Demonstrated experience managing complex calendaring and scheduling using Microsoft Outlook, including coordinating interviews and meetings across multiple stakeholders, time zones, and external partners.   Familiarity with marketing execution platforms or marketing operations tools (e.g., Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable systems), with an understanding of how operational inputs support campaign execution.    Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, or workforce operations in a regulated or process-driven environment, with attention to documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements.

Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
